An image to represent the assisted collection service

An assisted collection is where our waste and recycling officers will collect your household waste and recycling in their designated containers, from an agreed collection point and return them to that same point if the household is unable to place them at the kerbside.

This service can be agreed on a temporary or permanent basis. If your requirement is only temporary, we recommend that you apply for the assistance at-least 2 weeks prior to the event that will lead to the need for this additional help.

We will need to complete an assessment to check whether you qualify for this additional help. If you live with another able bodied person, then you will not be eligible for the assisted collection service.
