My household waste and recycling has not been collected?

You must meet all of the following criteria to be able to report your collection as missed.

• It must be no earlier than 4pm on the day of your most recent collection
• It must be no later than 1 working day after the date of your most recent collection
• The container(s) being reported as missed must have been scheduled for collection this week. You can check this here
• You must be signed-up to receive that collection type e.g. subscribed for garden waste or booked for a bulky collection
• Your container(s) must have been presented for collection by 7.30am
• Your container(s) must not be marked by us with a contamination sticker

If you do not meet all 5 criteria points, then we cannot accept the missed collection report. You will either need to dispose of the waste and recycling yourself at a recycling centre, recycling bank or tip or present this for collection correctly on the following collection week.

If you tried to tell us that your container(s) were missed online and were not able, it means that based on our collection schedules or Waste and Recycling Policy, we do not deem this to be a missed collection. This could be because:

• You are outside of the timeframe to report this as a missed collection
• The container that you are trying to report as missed was not due to be collected this week
• You are trying to report a missed collection of something you are not subscribed to, such as garden waste
• Your waste and recycling was not presented by the time our crews collected from your street
• The container(s) presented for collection were contaminated, so we could not collect these. If this is the case, your container will have a contamination label attached to it

If you were blocked from telling us online, then we cannot accept the missed collection report. You will either need to dispose of the waste and recycling yourself at a recycling centre, recycling bank or tip or present this correctly for collection on the following collection week.

• We will collect the reported container(s) within 2 working days following the day the report was made
